Engine 1 - is a 5 man Spartan /Ferrara Custom pumper.
Features:
"Metrostar" 10" raised roof cab, with the "Gladiator" interior & exterior trim package.
ISC 350 HP Cummins engine, Allison MD 3066 5-spd Auto-transmission.
Engine-exhaust braking system.
Air-ride driver seat with 911 seating throughout, with SCBA for all 5 seating positions, (with pre-posted assignments for each "seating position", i.e. supply, entry, attack, etc.)
Heavy-duty Air conditioning and heating system.
** Custom aluminum, hinged top box with internal divider slots for resource, reference & response manuals and map books, also serves as a small "Command Desk".
Waterous 1250 GPM pump, with a 750 poly tank and a 25 gallon foam cell.
Around-the-pump foam proportioner.
** Swivel-mounted radio/siren/intercom controls.
Fire-Com Intercom/Radio headsets, w/pump panel extension cord and jacks.
32 channel, dual control (inside-outside) alpha-numeric radio system.
** 2.5" tank fill/re-circulation valve. (quicker fill times)
All modular constructed aluminum compartmentation.
24" full depth "rescue style" high side compartments with adjustable shelves.
Transverse compartment for long tools & items (brooms, squeegees, etc)
Slide-out trays on bottom compartments.
6000 watt AMPS hydraulic generator, w/220 & 100 volt outlets.
2 - 1500 watt each, telescoping scene lights.

150 feet electrical cord reel with "illuminated gang box" for 2000 watts of portable lighting.
Pre-piped 1000 GPM deck gun with portable base.
** Custom brackets for extra hose rolls and Class A, B, C portable extinguishers and a pressurized Micro-Blaze Applicator.
"Thru the tank ladder storage" , with full pike pole and hook compliment.
24' extension ladder, 14' roof ladder and 10' folding attic ladder.
Connections for dual 5" inlets & outlets, increasing pump capacities near 3000 GPM ! *
Hose Load:

1500 feet of 5" large diameter supply hose.
800 feet of 3" with gated Y and 2 - 1.5" attack lines.
150 feet of 2.5" of WHITE color-coded "pre-connected cross lay attack line".
200 feet of 1.75" of
BLUE color-coded "pre-connected cross lay attack line".
150 feet of 1.75" of
RED color-coded "pre-connected cross lay attack line".
100 feet of 1.75" of
ORANGE color-coded "pre-connected front jump line".
200 feet of 3" YELLOW color-coded "pre-connected rear attack line".
150 feet of 3" and 1.75" rolled hose, for whatever comes up short !!

Engine 2 is identical to Engine 1 with the following exceptions.

1500 gallon poly tank with rear mounted 10" Newton quick-dump for tanker operations.
1800 gallon "Scotty" collapsible self supporting port-a-tank.
36' extension ladder.
800 feet of 5" large diameter supply hose.

At slightly over half a million dollars for the two, we're awful darn proud to have them !
They work extremely well together and have absolutely changed
the way we operate and serve our community.
